Blog Post – My Thoughts on Terrorism, Vegas Shootings and What We Can Do – Including a Channeled Message

I normally don’t like to speak out about events such as these, but my weekly reading last night saw this coming (https://carriegallop.wordpress.com/2017/10/02/weekly-angel-card-reading-week-of-october-1st-2017/), and I knew we were going to have even more to be talking about. I even received a small channeled message of guidance last night too, so I knew this was something I would need to talk about. The horrifying events unfolding this week, not to mention storms, hurricanes, earthquakes, volcanos… It’s all becoming a little much, I will admit. What is going on in this world! Do unto others as you would like done unto you. Why must we hurt and kill each other. It’s absolutely devastating. I was shocked to wake up another incident in Las Vegas, after the events that unfolded in Edmonton over the weekend. I ask God why. What is the purpose of it all. In my perspective, it’s all a crazy way we are learning lessons in this lifetime. There was a lot of energy coming in around teaching. We are all learning from each other, and our experiences. It’s a reminder to hold compassion for all people, especially where you feel anger. Compassion and understanding. Not understanding what their issues are, but understanding that you don’t understand their issues. I pray for healing for everyone affected by these events. The truth of the matter, is that there is actually a lot wrong with our world and the way we are living… our food, chemicals, pollution, healthcare, overpopulation, consumption of resources, our monetary systems and our governance… there is something wrong with everything. Nothing is ever perfect, and never will be. Thinking about this, I find myself frustrated. What can we really do to change this? I realized the answer had already came to me yesterday evening, when I jotted down a message that was channeled to me, seemingly out of the blue. It is not something I do often. It was not part of a reading and was information that was important to write down. This was what I wrote down:

“One person… one idea… one small change… can change everything. Imagine one small change you can make in your life. Commit to it. (For example: Smile more at strangers. Be more compassionate when you are quick to judge. Be more mindful of breathing when you feel emotional. Eat healthier. Be more generous. Be more open when you feel shy. Pushing your boundaries where you feel fear. Be willing to forgive and let things go. Etc.) There are so many ways we can make small positive changes in our lives, and these small changes can have huge impacts and ripple effects. We can inspire and teach others. We can show them they are not alone. We can show them we are all worthy. We can show them healing is possible. All with one small choice to put yourself out there. All with one small choice to commit to bettering yourself. Positivity echos, so make sure to stay positive.”

All you can do is better yourself. It starts at home. It’s starts right here in our own hearts and our own choices. You CAN make the choice to make better decisions. You can clean up your life and be healthier. You can feel better. Reduce your own impact on our environment. Grow your own food. Consume less. Get some counselling. Make the decision and do what it takes. Let’s commit to having our minds and hearts in a good place, sharing love and happiness. Not buying into fear or terror. There will always be that one person who is going to come along and do something. Please, consider holding compassion for their faults and pain. Finding compassion when it’s the hardest is where true strength lies. Sending love and staying positive truly resonates, and if we all choose to do that, it’s so powerful and changes the world.

Love you all, Carrie
