Weekly Angel Card Reading – Week of January 14, 2018

The crystals I am working with for the week are Fluorite, Amethyst and Ametrine. I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystals to you.

Fluorite – Promotes spiritual and psychic wholeness and development. Brings protection and peace. It is used to clear energy fields and aura. Fluorite is a stone of mental order and clarity. This brings a wiser, more balanced view of life and improves decision making. These traits enable one to manifest ideas and bring plans to fruition. Relieves anxiety, tension, and stress. Fluorite can reduce fear of the future, as well as ease anger and depression.

Amethyst – Promotes calm, balance, and peace. Eliminates impatience. Beneficial for legal problems and money issues. Increases spirituality and enhances intuition and psychic powers of all kinds. It is a stone of protection. Promotes peacefulness, happiness, and contentment. Brings emotional stability and inner strength and helps to enhance flexibility and cooperation. To be flexible at need is a sure sign of strength. Well known as a sobriety stone. It is used to assist in getting rid of addictions to alcohol, drugs, smoking, etc, and destructive compulsive behaviours of all kinds.

Ametrine – A natural combination of amethyst and citrine. Stimulates the intellect and helps you stay focused. Rids the aura of negative energy. It is also helpful for releasing negative emotional programming. Helps with meditation and boosts psychic abilities. Relieves tension. Unites masculine and feminine energy. Assists with weight loss and addictions.

I had received an Angel Card on Facebook this week, and as always, it was incredibly beautiful. My card was Openings, and it was picture of a hallway to a window with a Unicorn standing in a beautiful pasture. For the last few years, since I have been opening up more spiritually, I have been feeling something wonderful coming. Something big. Something exciting. Something more than I have ever imagined for myself. It’s so easy for us to feel “lost” on our path in life. To feel like we aren’t doing enough or contributing enough. To feel unsure of our true purpose in life. The truth is, as long as you are living with love and doing the best you can to be a good human being, you are doing enough. Sometimes the striving is what pushes life away. We can’t force life to be what we want it to be, and instead must surrender control and go with the flow. We must follow our hearts. I heard a quote on a show The Story of God with Morgan Freemen. I have seen this show before, but caught a snippet on TV today, and it resonated so deeply. “Birds don’t fly, they are only flown. Fish don’t swim, they are only carried.“ Maybe we don’t need to try so hard to make our lives what we think they should be. Instead, letting the wind (God) carry us and doing good along the way. I have been finding myself feeling impatient, that I am not where I expect myself to be, or that I am not sure what my direction is for my life. Maybe, that’s ok. Maybe it’s a good thing. Maybe God is directing me to do exactly what I need to when I need to. I still feel “it” coming. I am almost there. I know it. When she drew my Angel Card, on the back of her deck she was blown away to see the Christ Consciousness Card, with a beautiful depiction of Jesus. To be in service of others. All these purple crystals today also are symbolic of the Violet Flame, which is our Spiritual Enlightenment and development. We are growing and have learned so much. There is a New Moon coming up on Tues, Jan 16, and this is going to be the time to close the book on our past. It is a time of completion, where we can start fresh. It is time to take all we have learned, and move forward. On the New Moon, take time to Thank the Heavens for all you have experienced and learned in your life, and close that chapter. Then, be clear by writing down what you intend to manifest in your life going forward. Who do you want to be? How do you want to feel? What do you want to experience? What do you want to achieve? For right now, it doesn’t matter how you are going to do it, just write it down, and set the intention. I won’t be surprised when you find the note 6 months later and see how much of it is manifesting! It’s time lovelies!! Let’s get moving forward, together in love, sharing our Divine spark and love with the Universe.

Of course I was drawn to the Purple deck!

The Fresh Air card to me is all about our fresh start. Clean your house and open the windows for some fresh air. Get ready for the new beginnings in your life. Spend time in nature breathing deeply and releasing all of the lessons of the past. The weather here in Alberta should be warming up again this week, and it’s going to be great to spend more time outside and feel better. Spring is almost on the way, and it’s a great time for a fresh start! Trustworthy Guidance is all about listening to ourselves. What do you feel motivated to create? What do you want to achieve? Listen to what your soul wants and go for it. There’s a reason you feel the way you do, so listen to it. The Angels, Jesus, and the Creator, all are watching over us and guiding us. You are safe to make changes in your life and move forward. The Ocean Card is also about cleansing ourselves and washing away our concerns of the past. Allow yourself to be healed. Allow yourself to pursue what you want. Allow yourself to be happy. It is all Divinely supported, and now it the time to do it!

Angel Card Reading – Week of May 1, 2016

I chose the following crystals this week, which happened to be Earthy tones, that go right along with the Earth Magic deck I am going to use today. Starting from left to right:

-Bloodstone for circulatory health, and to keep our blood flowing. It helps to improve determination and personal power.

-Bronzite is a protective, grounding mineral that is used to restore harmony and self confidence in situations where you feel overwhelmed or powerless.

-Banded Agate is a healing stone for body, mind and spirit. It can increase concentration, honesty and memory. Banded Agate also protects the wearer from psychic attack, thereby preventing negative energy from harming you.

-Smoky Quartz is a grounding stone that transmutes negative energies and facilitates your ability to get things done in the practical world. Alleviates depression.

-Carnelian stimulates ambition and drive, so it will aid you in manifesting what you require to move onto your desired path forward in life.

-Desert Rose is very gentle and it teaches one that life is worth all of its ups and downs.

-Malachite for luck, prosperity and abundance!

-Crazy Lace Agate promotes inner stability, composure, and maturity. Its warm, protective properties encourage security and self-confidence.

If you read my last blog post, you will see I have been feeling drained lately, depleted and sick. Lotus Flower is the perfect card, that reassures me this time of rest and retreat was part of my growth.. Part of a bigger picture. Lotus flower tells me we are all going through something.. We are going through these things because we are unfolding, learning lessons and becoming a better people every day. The Full Moon card shows me we will complete this phase of unfoldment, and this energy of feeling down, stuck or struggling, will soon come to completion. We will have a new fresh perspective in our lives, and may see things change by the end of this week. I feel like we will have better insight into the direction we are moving, and into the people we want to become. I have been feeling quite stuck again lately, like I’m at a standstill again. Like I have had zero time for me (or my spiritual work!), barely time to rest before its on to the next duty. I know, poor me right! Perspective is confirming exactly what I already know.. My point of view is way off. I have a beautiful life, a beautiful home, beautiful gifts, a beautiful family… I really am so blessed. I have been so focused on what I am lacking, what I am not receiving, what I am unhappy with, that I am continually pushing away happiness. Choosing perfection over living in the now, and it’s only perceived perfection. Nothing is ever really perfect. Who cares that my house is always clean, when I have no time for anyone to come over and actually spend time with me! I will be thankful to see this week through, and see what pushes me to view my life from a deeper, fresher perspective. I am sincerely looking forward to it! Doreen Virtue’s reading for this week referenced signs, so watch out for signs and symbols from spirit all week! You’ll know them when you see them! Have a great week of growth and unfoldment!

Lotus Flower (Unfoldment) – The lotus flower sits upon one of its leaves, having risen to the surface as the sun invites it upward toward the light. At night the flower sinks below the surface, only to rise with daylight. What we learn from this amazing plant is how our own spiritual path unfolds and opens to the light, then at times gently folds in on itself for a proper rest when the daylight fades. This period is just as necessary for growth, for it allows the plant to integrate what it has gained in nourishment that day. Your spiritual unfoldment is occurring at all times, wether or not you are aware of it. Like the lotus, your soul is always reaching for the light to fulfill its karmic destiny, but even in that process there are periods of darkness and times to rest. It is a natural cycle, one that cannot be truly coerced or halted. It has an intimate rhythm of its own, one that is unique to you. You do not need to strive for spiritual growth, or be driven by spiritual ambition. It does no good to try to force growth upon yourself. Just be your beautiful self, and love yourself and the world around you as much as you can. Allowing is the key here. Allow the place in you that naturally wants to follow the light, to do so, while recognizing that even when you have complete faith, you will face challenges and, occasionally, suffering. Your steady faith and love will guide you on your journey of returning to the light.

Full Moon (Completion) – Every 29.5 days Grandmother Moon shines bright and full in the sky, illuminating the landscape with her muted brilliance, casting a delicate canopy over the sky and the physical features of Earth. Having gradually etched her way over the last two weeks to fullness, she now stands like a guiding beacon in the night. She has completed this round of her perpetual and periodic monthly journey, and will now start her slow but steady retreat into shadow. In this card, we see the grandeur of the moon at its peak, blazing brightly and creating a silhouette of a tree. This beautiful orb reminds us that all cycles have their time of completion and fulfillment, one that will inevitably be followed by a decrease until yet another cycle is initiated. You can now take pleasure in knowing that whatever you have been working toward has now reached its culmination. It may have been a relatively brief cycle or a much more extensive one, yet regardless of the length of time you have arrived at the stage of completion. Let yourself feel the contentment and satisfaction of this accomplishment. It is like when you take a deep breath and reach the point where your lungs are pleasantly full and your body is ready to release that breath. It is important not only to enjoy this completion but also to let go and allow yourself to relax afterwards, just like exhaling slowly and consciously. People are much too eager to rush to the next item on the agenda without giving proper time and space to appreciating and honouring the natural cycle of release that follows a point of resolution. Give yourself the time to relax and rest before tackling spirits next assignment.

Milky Way (Perspective) – The Milky Way is said to be one of billions of galaxies in the observable universe. It contains between 200 to 400 billion stars, the one most familiar to us being the sun. The oldest star in our galaxy is 13.2 billion years old – said to be nearly as old as the universe itself – and the Earth is about 4.5 billion years old. Distances are measured in light years, and the Milky Way galaxy is believed to be 100,000 light years in diameter. The enormity and vastness stagger the mind and challenge the imagination, yet it also gives us some notion of where we fit in all this. Considered from this perspective, our usual frame of reference is put to the task. We’re faced with a choice of abandoning our myopic vision in favour for seeing and accepting the bigger picture, or we can just allow ourselves to be overwhelmed by a sense of smallness and helplessness. Yet know that we are composed of material from those very stars that inhabit the Milky Way. Thus, we’re connected to Earth and the entire universe at all times, in life and death. You have lost your perspective, so it is time to step back, breathe, and allow yourself to detach in order to gather information from your senses and regain your perspective about this situation. Detachment does not mean you no longer care – it simply indicates that you are looking at things from a different point of view. It is an outlook that is not clouded by emotions, judgement, or attachment to outcome, but instead maintains a non-reactive awareness of these things. The Witness, that internal aspect of yourself that simply observes everything in your life, offers his or her eyes here. Through these lenses of pure awareness, you can examine all aspects of your experiences – physical, emotional, and mental – without denying anything. By doing so, you will come to understand a greater perspective than is typically justified by the ego, which allows you to see what is before you with clear vision and an open mind.

Angel Card Reading – Week of Mar 20, 2016

The crystals I chose this week, starting from left to right, then top and bottom, are:

Pyrite – Attracts abundance in our life. It is a strong stone to promote positive thinking and abundance.

Goldstone – I also consider this a stone that attracts abundance. Goldstone is said to help attain one’s goals. Goldstone is also said to help one stay calm and stabilize the emotions. It can be used as an energy generator and can deflect unwanted energies, making it useful as a protection stone.

Red Jasper – It creates a strong connection to the earth and this is very helpful for emotional equilibrium and spiritual grounding. It gives deep insight into personal difficulties and gives you a strong sense of stability.

Carnelian – Carnelian are stones of action, that will give you the courage and confidence to move forward on a new path in life.

Apache Tears – Apache Tears are said to especially relieve grief and sadness as well as assisting in giving and accepting forgiveness. They can help release negative emotions, and they also can balance one’s emotional state. They are good luck stones, said to bring good luck to anyone who has one. They are excellent meditation tools, especially for clarifying issues and gaining insight.

Smoky Quartz – Is an excellent grounding stone. It neutralizes negative vibrations and is detoxifying.

Hematite – Hematite crystals have an excellent grounding and balancing energy, as well as being a powerful aid to stimulate the mind. They enhance memory and evoke deep thought.

I realized that I started with crystals to attract abundance and happiness leading the flow into our life, the middle represented our inner focus, the Apache Tears at the end to represent our strength needed throughout the path of our life, the Smoky Quartz above to direct the flow of our energy into the heavens, and the hematite to keep us grounded to Mother Earth. The orange and red crystals were spoken about during a card reading I read earlier today, and I also happened to sleep with them near me last night. It appears this week we will finally finish working through some issues within ourselves, to move forward to some positive lessons and manifestations, and it looks like this week will be very positive for us! Iceberg card always feels negative to me… Like some ugly part of my personality that I try to hide, is only becoming more prevalent because of the attention I give to try and avoid it. When we learn lessons in life, it takes time… It takes processing.. Like waves of the ocean washing up and slowing clearing away layers of hurt and pain, to eventually find renewal. I have been feeling frustrated lately, and asking myself what I do to attract these “feelings” about my life… What can I really do to change the outcome of my life and my happiness? I believe this card is a reminder that everyday, we are working on ourselves and changing. It is a process. That which we perceive is negative about ourselves, can just be an aspect of who we are, as an imperfect human being. I have to find the way to accept and love myself fully, and stop worrying and questioning. I need to let my life progress and process, while trying to stay positive and loving! Although I look at this card a bit negatively, it appears from the spread of the 3 cards that we will learn from our submerged aspects in our life, and be able to move forward to a new phase of our lives, one filled with manifestations and renewal. We got through the tough times, we completed our lessons, and it’s time to start fresh! I also believe, it could represent an idea or want that we have suppressed, and now it’s time to bring it to the surface! It’s funny, this evening I went outside and looked up at the moon and realized its almost full again. Where is the time going!! It felt to me like it should still be a New Moon, and look at the card that came. I believe this card is the perfect card for the first day of spring. It is a symbol of the promise in our life, that our desires are coming to fruition. The image in the card is so beautiful and romantic to me. Spring is always a season of love, and this card definitely confirms that. Keeping our thoughts positive and attracting positivity in our lives will help us guarantee our soul’s desires will come true. Whale is the perfect sign of us being able to move out of our element, if only momentarily, so we can face fears and move past them, knowing they were only illusionary. We are going to push our boundaries and surpass them. We are going to find newfound freedoms to live by going forward. Change can be scary, but it can also be liberating!! That’s exactly what I believe is in store for us this week, is a wonderful feeling of liberation and power! I need to get out of my element for a while, I think that is exactly what I need to restore my happiness and freedom! (Thank you Angels!! 🙏 I take just as much from these readings as you guys do!)

Iceberg (Submerged) – Up to 90% of an iceberg’s body is below the surface, deeply submerged in the bosom of Grandmother Ocean. Yet Grandmother allows considerable freedom for her enormous children, permitting them to move about as dictated by the currents and their own momentum. Having broken from a glacier or ice shelf, they float along the sea, much to the detriment of vessels that attempt to traverse their passageways. Most of us have heard stories of ill-fated ships that have had tragic encounters with these ice mountains. Although the top most portion can easily be seen, there’s still a massive amount of its body below the water that may be difficult to detect. That which remains unseen can fool us and perhaps even be dangerous and damaging. Whatever you suppress or deny and attempt to keep out of conciliation awareness will show up somewhere and somehow. These are your shadow aspects. At one time, you put them out of your consciousness for good reason, yet they remain contained by shame and guilt. Sometimes these submerged aspects of yourself are projected onto others, so that they mirror those denied or suppressed parts of you, and you may even harshly judge these characteristics when they are exhibited. Now is the time to allow these elements to surface and embrace them. These may make up some sort of self-expression, a secret dream you wish to accomplish, or even uglier aspects that are difficult to acknowledge or accept. Whatever you have submerged deep inside you, this is your opportunity to pay attention to those things and welcome them to the family called “you”.

New Moon (Promise) – Gazing at the sliver of the new moon smiling down upon them, the couple embraces each other, welcoming the promise of their love. The fading sun drapes the clouds and waters with its tinge of luminescence, as the crescent opens its arms to the nearby planet Venus, names after the Roman Goddess of love. This is a time for manifestation, beginnings, and renewal, with the promise that our desires will come to fruition. Here Grandmother Moon initiates another lunar cycle, moving from darkness to fullness and back again over approximately one month. Her promise of what’s to come is embedded in the first glimmer of her light as she emerges from behind the curtains of darkness that had recently encompassed her. It is a promise that has been kept for as long as she has existed. This is the time to launch a project, a new relationship, or renew something that has been put aside for a later date. With your intention and willingness to allow a full cycle to complete itself, that which you desire will manifest. The seed of that idea is ready to emerge from the darkness of your subconscious into your full awareness. The next step is to put into action what is required to fully realize this idea. A promise has 2 meanings: it can be a commitment and guarantee to yourself (or someone else) that a particular thing will happen, or it can imply that something specific is expected to happen. When your will is aligned with the will of Spirit and your intention is focused upon what you wish to have happen, there will be fulfillment, and the promise is kept.

Whale (Breach) – This powerful creature of the ocean takes a few great sweeps with his fins and propels himself briefly out of the waters where he spends the majority of his life. He’s taking a break from the ordinary Earth element in which he lives to exist even for a few moments in the realm of blue skies and sun, having broken through the skin of the ocean in the magnificent display of fullness and strength. In this image, the humpback whale that has burst out of the ocean expresses an almost palpable feeling of release and joy. Often when we manage to change our environment – to break through illusionary blockages – we experience an intense feeling of relief and can let go of any previously held fears and assumptions of what would happen once we did overcome that barrier, whether it’s material, emotional, or mental. Simply getting away from the trance of technology for a few hours and spending time in nature is a breach from the trappings of civilization that can suffocate us and prevent us from connecting to Earth. It’s time to take a break! Not just a coffee break, but a respite from the usual environment you find yourself in. That trip you wanted to take? Go for it. Tired of being indoors? Make it a point to get outside. You have become so attached your surroundings that you have created with them in the illusion of safety, yet it is not these things that make you feel safe. Rather, the familiarity you have imbued in your surroundings have generated this false sense of security. Taking time away from the familiar is literally about changing your external environment in a significant way, such as doing something unusual or perhaps something you have always wanted to experience. Another perspective is breaking through the barrier of beliefs that have constricted you in any way from being who you truly are. This is your opportunity to do some internal breaching of these thought patterns, which will open you up to different worlds and perspectives.

Angel Card Reading – Week of Jan 24, 2016

I am so excited for this week’s reading.. I watched Doreen Virtue’s reading, just so I would know when I chose my cards how they related to what she got. I also watched a video post by The Healing Path of the Raven & Wolf, and she also hinted to an amazing week ahead, a week of brand new beginnings. A week of amazing revelations and connections. I have been feeling all day that this week ahead is going to be very positive! So I pulled lots of awesome crystals to work with today, crystals of abundance, prosperity, happiness and luck! Of course I pulled the full moon card, as we are going through a full moon right now! So it is important to release all your hurts from your past, and move forward to a brand new future, with a clean slate. You are more than deserving. Good things are coming, and you must have faith and believe that! I was outside shovelling today, and our property is surrounded with large trees. I find the trees so healing. I noticed I had an affinity for trees when I started doing photography. Trees are one of my favourite subjects. They each have such personality, and emotion to express. I felt a comforting sense from the trees today, like they were hugging me, surrounding me with love. I couldn’t help but breathe the air in so deeply, and savour the moment, the beautiful interaction with nature. The Forest card is reminding us to get outside and breathe in that nature energy deeply. Let your soul feel that connection. Give thanks to our Earth for all she provides for us. This card is also a reminder, for us to breathe. Breathe deeply. Notice when your having anxiety, that you are not breathing deep enough, and make a conscious effort to do so. It will help! Make sure to breathe deeply as often as possible! Green man signals new re-birth of life.. A perfect sign after the releasing we will do tonight with the full moon, and also coincides with the other readings presented for this week, that we are starting a whole new chapter in our life! The synergy card to me represents our new fresh energy. This indicates to me that we will be full of energy this week, and will work well with those around us. We will be in harmony with all that surrounds us, including people and nature. Things will just seem to fall into place! This also aligns with the other hints from The Healing Path of the Raven & Wolf, that souls will meet this week, and special, wonderful, synergistic events will unfold! The full moon card also signifies a need to release, and breathe! Take the time to relax and appreciate where you are in life. Appreciate how far you’ve come. Take the time to breathe, relax and enjoy life for a minute. You are changing everyday, and are on your way down a whole new path in life. Enjoy this phase you have completed, and think positively about the future ahead! Breathe deeply, and be excited for all that is to come!

Forest – Breath – as we make our way across the meadow to the thicker parts of the forest, there’s a subtle shift in the sensations in the body, one that might initially be barely perceptible but soon becomes undeniable. It’s nearly impossible not to take deeper breaths. The richness of the forests oxygen, given freely and generously from the trees (the standing ones) to us, is a natural exchange for the carbon dioxide we release every time we exhale. Further, The animals of the forest participate in this exchange as well, in what is one of the most miraculous and remarkable collaborations between plants and animals that serve to help each other live and thrive. The ratio of this oxygen-carbon dioxide exchange has been in balance for millennia but has been changing quite dramatically in the last several years as carbon dioxide levels have been rising. Still there are many parts of the world where we can still enjoy the refreshing and revitalizing effects of an afternoon enjoying the sights, sounds, and smells of a walk in the forest. Through prayer and action, we can express our gratitude to these tree beings for the many gifts they provide, not the least of which is contributing to the very air we breathe. Things are different after a walk in the forest.

Your breathing is too shallow. Although it may feel natural, it is an unhealthy habit that causes this shortness of breath. When you subconsciously shorten your breath, no matter if this is habitual or triggered by some event or circumstance, it activates certain physiological signals that prepare your system for “fight or flight”. Another conditioned response to perceived danger is to hold your breath. This is your survival response, although it does not serve you to do so. So breathe! Inhale deeply, regardless of your concerns, worries, or problems. Then let it go. Next, allow yourself to breathe a little deeper and slower a few times. Remember that every breath you inhale as a gift, and every breath you exhale as a gift. The forest is a clear reminder of how this works.

Green Man – Synergy – Green man is Earth’s vegetation personified. Although he has many variations, this card depicts a more subtle and embedded representation. In other portrayals, he resembles the face of a man covered in green foliage as branches and vine sprout from every direction. There exists some form of green man throughout history and in a myriad of cultures throughout the world. Often a symbol for the rebirth of life in spring time, he’s also associated with the Lord of the Wildwood. As a representative of the plant kingdom, green man reminds us of the incredible synergy required for Gaia to maintain her delicate and dynamic balance among the various beings on the planet. Synergy is the interaction and cooperation of two or more elements that produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate efforts. We witness this in the complex and cooperative interaction between plants, humans, and animals. Four instance, fruit trees propagate by being eaten by an animal, then in deposits it back into the earth after digestion. As a new plant grows, bees pollinate the flowers, and the cycle begins once again in each or simple yet remarkable synergy.

You have the advantage of an incredible synergy at this time. The flow of life is guiding you, where things just seem to fall into place as you move about your business. You are in a mutually cooperative interaction with spirit, as your will is aligned with the will of spirit, and your mission is congruent with your sense of purpose. When this is happening there is a synergy, a way that your life force is continually coming into balance with the forces of nature. There is also a synergy between your spiritual awareness and your personal self, or ego. Be aware of the various idiosyncrasies of your ego, and do not take any of them too seriously. Know that your higher self is always looking out for your best interest. In this cycle, tune into that guidance, however it shows up, and you will find that you will move through life with greater ease due to a synergistic balance of forces expressing themselves as you.

Full Moon – Completion – every 29.5 days grandmother moon shines bright and full in the sky, illuminating the landscape with her muted brilliance, casting a delicate canopy over the sky and the physical features of earth.

People are much too eager to rush to the next item on the agenda without giving proper time and space to appreciating and honoring the natural cycle of release that follows a point of resolution. Give yourself the time to relax and rest before tackling spirits next assignment.
