Weekly Angel Card Reading – Week of May 27, 2018

The crystals I am working with for the week are Atlantisite, Rainforest Rhyolite and Epidote. I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystals to you.

Atlantisite – Lowers stress levels. Helps you find inner peace. Stabilizes your moods and helps break away from making poor choices. A good stone for meditation, it helps you access information and wisdom. Increases love and compassion. Enhances your sense of security and helps you establish your personal boundaries. Helps you open your way to Spirit. Removes stagnant energies and brings peace to life. Helps raise your energy. It is also a powerful physical healing stone.

Rainforest Rhyolite – Helps you to find your expression in the wake of problems and anxieties. Provides insight into solutions and alternatives. It helps to eliminate procrastination and distractions.

Epidote – Enhances the energy of whatever it touches, including other stones. Increases perception and brings spiritual growth. Helpful for releasing negativity and raising one’s vibrational energy. It is helpful for those stuck in modes of depression, hopelessness, or other negative thinking pattern. Brings a sense of hopeful optimism, helping to bring the mind into a higher vibration. Clears congestion and energy blockages. Helps to balance and stabilize energy. An excellent stone for connecting with nature and her healing qualities.

It’s time to stop procrastinating. We must continue on, even though things are so hard right now. Everywhere I go, I talk to people who are experiencing extreme struggles right now in life. Everyone is going through hard times. These crystals are reminding us that we have the power to heal ourselves, and that we can get ourselves unstuck and find some solutions to our problems. We must take responsibility for ourselves. We must do what is needed for the betterment of our life, even if it is hard. We need to find our inner peace, so that we can calm down and handle life with more ease. We need to keep our emotional stability, as much as possible, so that we can make clear, positive, responsible choices for ourselves. You are safe to make the choices you want in life. Do not be afraid to make them, or to set boundaries for yourself. Get yourself clear and balanced, and start healing yourself. When you raise your vibration, you will see Spirit more and more in your life. Let’s see what the cards say for the week.

You have the strength to get through this stuff that’s going on now. Imagine yourself with the immovable strength of a mountain, as you face your challenges and make new choices. It is all a process of growth we are going through, unfolding through the lessons of life, and learning what it is that is right and wrong for us. We are so close, the sunshine is almost over the fog, and we are nearly in our full bloom. We can’t see much now, being stuck in our current muck, but I am certain we are very close to a positive change in the energy. You don’t have to suffer, please allow yourself to heal. You just gotta keep going. Do the best you can to work on yourself and stay positive. You have lots of love to give, and the more you give, the more you get. Be ready to radiate, as your time to shine is coming!

Weekly Angel Card Reading – Week of September 10, 2017

The crystals I am working with for the week are Polka-Dot Rhyolite, Carnelian and Lava Rock. I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystals to you.

Polka-dot Rhyolite – Assists with balance, regeneration and mind abilities. It helps you see and understand all the parts of yourself that are out of balance. It then helps you let go of any past blockages. Helpful for any type of self esteem issues and procrastination. It is also useful for finding love that is a healthier type of relationship for you. It is useful in all aspects of maintaining or regaining beauty. It can help rekindle a relationship. It can help those using their psychic abilities to connect easier and is a powerful stone for anyone attempting to astral travel or for channeling. It is perfect for use in any sort of working that use elemental forces.

Carnelian – Creates harmony between your mental focus and creative inspiration. Assists you in actualizing your vision. Grounds and anchors you into the present reality. Restores vitality and motivation. Has the ability to cleanse other stones. Stimulates, balances & heals a women’s reproductive system. Stimulates the metabolism. Useful in overcoming abuse of any kind.

Lava Rock – Grounds and calms the emotions. A stone of rebirth and shedding unneeded layers of emotional attachment. Lava stones are good for stabilizing and grounding because of the strong connection to the Earth and it’s creation within the centre of Earth. In folk remedies, it was given to soldiers to help them remain calm during battle. A stone of courage and gives people stability as they go through changes in their lives.

I knew drawing these crystals, they were very transformative, and the carnelian for me represents strength. Restoration, balance and grounding is the general theme of these crystals. I know everyone is talking about the hurricanes and natural disasters, and how can you not. It is an extreme visual representation of lessons we need to be learning. I felt the winds of change blowing around me, I envisioned the hurricane winds plaguing the south, I could feel everything being tossed around me, yet I felt very solid, grounded and deeply rooted. I felt the fires burning up what no longer is useful to us. What I also felt was a newness. The Earth can only sustain our toxic ways of life for so long. We need to live in harmony with our Earth, walking beside her and and not on top of her. It’s not all bad though… Amidst this all, I see us learning and growing from this. I see us coming together as a human race. Do what you can, right where you are, to be a force of good. All I know, is I can feel the collective suffering. All we can do to combat suffering is find love within our lives and in our day, no matter where we are. Appreciate what you have right now. Let’s see what the cards say for the week.

The cards are perfect as always. ❤️ We need to come together in Unity, and do the right thing. We need to take care of all those around us right now, doing what we can from where we are. Sometimes, it’s the toughest lessons in life that bring us the most growth, and going through worldly traumas is going to change us all. It is going to make us more understanding towards the Earth and towards each other. There is only one way we get through these times, and that is by coming together and helping. The Lotus Flower is the perfect symbol of the growth and lessons we are undertaking at this time. Humans will live in their comfort zones as long as possible, and sometimes need to be shaken awake to the changes that need to be made. It’s hard to make tough changes voluntarily. We have to let go of the selfish and capitalistic ways of life, so that we can come together and live lives that matter. So that we can live in peace, harmony and unity. This isn’t saying you have to let go of your dreams and join the peace corp. This is saying to follow your dreams, while also living a life of integrity and consideration for others. It’s about finding a healthy and positive balance. The Law of Attraction rewards those who do the right thing. Whatever life is shaking you awake about right now, know that it’s part of growing and learning, and helping you unfold into the beautiful flower you are becoming. Rely on your tribe if you are needing support. If you are hitting bumps in the road, sometimes connecting with our tribe is all we need for inspiration and motivation. We are all in this together, please never forget that.

<<<<<<<<<<
ning the traditional ways of doing things can sometimes be very effective. Other times, though, we need to break out of the box and consider new and creative modes of accomplishing our goals. Discussing various methods – old and new – with those you trust can help you know which philosophy to follow at any given time. If your goals are meeting with resistance, it may be due to the method you are using to attain them, rather than a flaw in your actual plans. Be open to trusted people's perceptions regarding the right strategy to take. Having a support group of friends and a spiritual teacher who walks his or her talk will uplift you and allow you to stand tall in your work. It’s important to always stay on a path of integrity in every aspect of life. The Law of Attraction rewards those who follow their dreams while remaining honest and true in dealing with others. Align yourself with organizations or people who have high spiritual ideals. In this card, our two fairy students have found a mentor to teach them both old and new ways of thinking.

Additional meanings of this card: Doing the right thing for the right reason. Remaining true to your principles. Being a spiritual teacher to others and/or consulting one for guidance. Respecting your Elders or the past. The power of prayer.

<<<<<<<<<

Essential Meanings: Community; belonging; being seen and understood by others; like-minded connections; a sense of family and friendship; knowing your place in the world.

The Oracle’s Message: This card signals a new affiliation with a group. Humans are social creatures, and we need to know we are useful to our tribes, families, and communities. In a tribe, everyone has an important function and feels “I matter”. Membership in the group provides a sense of belonging, of kinship, and of purpose that comes from working together for a greater fulfillment of all. Perhaps you are part of a spiritual community, or an artistic one. Perhaps you are in a learning community where you share your love of education. Regardless of its form or focus, your community brings you joy. You will be inspired by it and want to contribute to it. Your contribution may be as small as showing up or as large as becoming its leader. No matter your position in this tribe, your presence is needed.

Relationship Message: You’re discovering the essential qualities that you share with another – and perhaps also those you don’t share. There are times when you follow and the other person leads, and times when you lead and the other person follows. The appearance of this card points to the importance of learning the proper “dance” between you and another. Accepting the truth that everyone has flaws is part of that dance. Yet you are also being asked to be aware of the dynamics that you don’t want to repeat. You’re in the perfect place to make changes in order to experience the best version of who you can be together.

Prosperity Message: Whenever you’re in a community of like-minded others, there is a powerful opportunity to reap great abundance. It’s essential to ask, what can I contribute? Rather than, what can I get from this? Figure out a need and look to fill it. Something meaningful will manifest. Even if what manifests is small, it is a sign that the doors of opportunity will swing open wider. There is also another meaning of this card to consider: Don’t try to be all things to all people. Choose your role and be true to it, and serve from a place of authenticity. There is no greater feeling of accomplishment than knowing you have a purpose.

Protection Message: Beware of compromising your identity in order to belong. How do you dim your light or change yourself so others will accept you in the tribe? Do you hide who you really are in order to play a role within the larger whole? This will never fulfill you. Now is a time to assess your willingness to be real. Stand tall. Be you. Authenticity is true self-expression and the only way to empower yourself. Don’t be afraid to be yourself and step into the role your heart tells you to take. Making yourself small bears too high a cost. < img src=”https://carriegallop.files.wordpress.com/2017/09/img_1010.jpg” height=”3264″ class=”wp-image-1612″ width=”2448″><<<<<<<<<<
r (Unfoldment) – The lotus flower sits upon one of its leaves, having risen to the surface as the sun – held in the hand of God -invites it upward to the light. This unique plant is rooted in the mud and muck at the bottom of a body of water, it’s stem reaching up to the surface, where the leaves rest quietly. At night the flower closes and sinks below the surface, only to rise with the daylight and once again gradually unfold it’s petals, it’s stem extending above the waterline three feet or more. What we learn from this amazing plant is how our own spiritual path unfolds and opens to the light, then at times gently fold in on itself for proper rest when the daylight fades. This period is just as necessary as the growth, for it allows the plant to integrate what it has gained in nourishment during the day. It’s also just as important that it is rooted, and it is yet another miracle of Nature that something so exquisitely beautiful is formed from the mud and silt at the water’s bottom. Your spiritual unfoldment is occurring at all times whether or not you are aware of it. It is inevitable as long as you put your trust in the hands of the Creator, the one who holds the light. Like the Lotus, your soul is always reaching for the light to fulfill it’s karmic destiny, but even in that process there are periods of darkness and times to rest. It is a natural cycle, one that cannot truly be coerced or halted. It has an innate rhythm of its own, one that is unique to the being that is you. You do not need to strive or be driven by spiritual ambition. It does no good to try to force growth upon yourself – or others, for that matter. Allowing is the key here. Allow the place in you that naturally wants to follow the light to do so while recognizing that even when you have complete faith, you will face challenges and, occasionally, suffering. Your steady faith and love will guide you on your journey of returning to the light.<

Weekly Angel Card Reading – Week of February 19, 2017

The crystals I am working with for the week are Sunstone, Goldstone and Aragonite. I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystals to you.

Sunstone – Dispels fears and phobias. A leadership stone. Used to decrease stress and lift depression. Brings good luck and abundance, and turns negative energy into positive. It is said to be helpful in contacting animal or spirit guides. Used to increase physical and sexual energy and heal depression, phobias and stress related illness.

Goldstone – Helps attain goals. Helps to stay calm and stabilize emotions. It is an energy generator and deflects unwanted energies, making it useful for protection. Revitalizes the energy field.

Aragonite – Increases energy, especially with prayer. Boosts self-confidence and feelings of self-worth. Diminishes anger and relieves stress. It is helpful to those who need to release attachments and issues from the past. A good Earth healer, it encourages conservation of Earth’s precious resources. A grounding stone that creates a deeper connection to planet Earth.

I wasn’t sure which Angel Card deck I was going to use today, and I thought, I need to do an Animal Spirit Guide or Nature cards today. The crystals I chose are confirming that energy. They want us to connect to our Animal and Spirit Guides, and they want us to connect to the Earth. We need to deepen our connection to our Earth Mother. We have all grown from her and live on her land. We must take care of our home. The crystals make me feel like we’ve been in a bit of a funk lately, letting fears creep into our thoughts. The crystals are here to heal issues from the past, diminish the anger, stress and depression, and dispel our fears. They are going to help turn any negativity into positive energy. Not only will they boost our confidence to help us attain our goals, it looks like we have luck and abundance on our side as well! Let’s see what the cards say for the week.

I decided to pull two cards from the Earth Magic deck and one from the Animal Spirit Guide deck, both by Steven D. Farmer. The Winter Solstice card represents a time where we need to go within and reflect on our lives and find who we truly are. A time to reflect on everything we have learned and how that is going to help us in the future. The crystals are going to help us heal any past issues and transmute anything negative into positive. It is a reminder that we always must go through periods of darkness and times of quiet, but that the sun will return. It always does. Good times are coming. It is a positive time where we are getting ready to unfold, to grow into ourselves more confidently and fully. Our paths are going to unfold before our eyes. There are always going to be bumps in the road, and the Boar reminds you to face those problems head on. There is nothing you can’t handle. The cards and crystals want you to have confidence!! It’s a positive and abundant time, and you will emerge victorious!

Winter Solstice (Reflection) – The midpoint of Winter is not only the shortest day of the year, but it is also the longest night. The world is very still and the land dormant. Various “Festivals of Light” are celebrated, and have been for thousands of years, serving as a reminder that the light will indeed return. Throughout many cultures there are tales describing this time as the birth of the archetypal Sun King – including the Christian story of Jesus’s birth – representing the hope of renewal from the darkest period of the solar cycle. This image portrays a simple yet powerful representation of the winter solstice. We see a clear reflection of the snowy woods on the still, frozen waters of the lake. The blue tint drapes the scene with an even greater sense of quiet and solace, inviting us to walk very softly lest we disturb the intense yet gentle grace of this scene. The reflection of the trees on the frozen lake reminds us that this is a time for us to go inside – to both our physical shelter as well as our internal world – and there contemplate the season that has passed, the season that is, and the seasons yet to come. Review the past year and ask yourself what the most important lessons you have had to learn are, what you have accomplished, and what dreams and visions you want to manifest in the upcoming year. Whether it has been a relatively smooth ride or a challenging series of events, acknowledge your experience as being the work of Source, no matter what your judgments, fears, or joys are. Honour whatever has happened over the previous several months with gratitude and forgiveness. Then let it go. Allow yourself some solitude so you can spend some quiet, slow time in reflection. Once you feel complete, reflect on your present life, especially focusing on what you are grateful for. When you are finished, consider what is to come – all the different possibilities and potential that exist before you. Allow your imagination to roam without limitation or ambition, and see what shows up. Notice how you feel in your body with whatever scenario plays out in your mind. These are previews of that which is gestating, and can manifest and grow when cared for properly. Patience and stillness is called for here, for just as the Earth cycles have their own pace, so does this cycle.

Lotus Flower (Unfoldment) – The lotus flowers sits upon one of its leaves, having risen to the surface as the sun – held in the hand of God -invites it upward to the light. Your steady faith and love will guide you on your journey of returning to the light.

Boar (Pig) – Whatever difficulties you’re experiencing now, whether with a relationship, career path, or some other concern, dig in and rummage around until you discover how to solve the problem. Then take immediate action to remedy it. Every time you confront adverse situations in this way, you’ll be uprooting those elements in your life that appear to be obstacles to fulfilling your purpose. Life can sometimes be very uncooperative with your rational mind’s sense of order, and will at times even block your demands of how events or experiences should unfold. If you’re living on Earth, you’re going to get your feet muddy sometimes, but it’s no call for panic, crisis, or drama. Instead, take a couple of deep breathes and view whatever problem you encounter as simply something that needs to be taken care of. As the saying goes, there really are no problems – only creative possibilities. Once you have emerged victorious – which means that you either conquered your problem or changed your thinking about how you initially perceived the situation – you’ll experience a surge of power and confidence. Remember that your power originates from Source, expressed through you and as you. When you vanquished the illusion of the situation being a problem, you’ll not only feel a greater sense of relief and freedom, but you also open the way for your heart, mind, and soul to be more in alignment with the Will of Spirit. When you operate from that perspective, you can overcome anything! Associations: Courage; Hospitality; Earthiness; Self-reliance; Protection; Prosperity; Organization; Fierceness; Uprooting; Cleanliness; Determination; Balance; Security; Tenacity

Angel Card Reading – Week of May 1, 2016

I chose the following crystals this week, which happened to be Earthy tones, that go right along with the Earth Magic deck I am going to use today. Starting from left to right:

-Bloodstone for circulatory health, and to keep our blood flowing. It helps to improve determination and personal power.

-Bronzite is a protective, grounding mineral that is used to restore harmony and self confidence in situations where you feel overwhelmed or powerless.

-Banded Agate is a healing stone for body, mind and spirit. It can increase concentration, honesty and memory. Banded Agate also protects the wearer from psychic attack, thereby preventing negative energy from harming you.

-Smoky Quartz is a grounding stone that transmutes negative energies and facilitates your ability to get things done in the practical world. Alleviates depression.

-Carnelian stimulates ambition and drive, so it will aid you in manifesting what you require to move onto your desired path forward in life.

-Desert Rose is very gentle and it teaches one that life is worth all of its ups and downs.

-Malachite for luck, prosperity and abundance!

-Crazy Lace Agate promotes inner stability, composure, and maturity. Its warm, protective properties encourage security and self-confidence.

If you read my last blog post, you will see I have been feeling drained lately, depleted and sick. Lotus Flower is the perfect card, that reassures me this time of rest and retreat was part of my growth.. Part of a bigger picture. Lotus flower tells me we are all going through something.. We are going through these things because we are unfolding, learning lessons and becoming a better people every day. The Full Moon card shows me we will complete this phase of unfoldment, and this energy of feeling down, stuck or struggling, will soon come to completion. We will have a new fresh perspective in our lives, and may see things change by the end of this week. I feel like we will have better insight into the direction we are moving, and into the people we want to become. I have been feeling quite stuck again lately, like I’m at a standstill again. Like I have had zero time for me (or my spiritual work!), barely time to rest before its on to the next duty. I know, poor me right! Perspective is confirming exactly what I already know.. My point of view is way off. I have a beautiful life, a beautiful home, beautiful gifts, a beautiful family… I really am so blessed. I have been so focused on what I am lacking, what I am not receiving, what I am unhappy with, that I am continually pushing away happiness. Choosing perfection over living in the now, and it’s only perceived perfection. Nothing is ever really perfect. Who cares that my house is always clean, when I have no time for anyone to come over and actually spend time with me! I will be thankful to see this week through, and see what pushes me to view my life from a deeper, fresher perspective. I am sincerely looking forward to it! Doreen Virtue’s reading for this week referenced signs, so watch out for signs and symbols from spirit all week! You’ll know them when you see them! Have a great week of growth and unfoldment!

Lotus Flower (Unfoldment) – The lotus flower sits upon one of its leaves, having risen to the surface as the sun invites it upward toward the light. At night the flower sinks below the surface, only to rise with daylight. What we learn from this amazing plant is how our own spiritual path unfolds and opens to the light, then at times gently folds in on itself for a proper rest when the daylight fades. This period is just as necessary for growth, for it allows the plant to integrate what it has gained in nourishment that day. Your spiritual unfoldment is occurring at all times, wether or not you are aware of it. Like the lotus, your soul is always reaching for the light to fulfill its karmic destiny, but even in that process there are periods of darkness and times to rest. It is a natural cycle, one that cannot be truly coerced or halted. It has an intimate rhythm of its own, one that is unique to you. You do not need to strive for spiritual growth, or be driven by spiritual ambition. It does no good to try to force growth upon yourself. Just be your beautiful self, and love yourself and the world around you as much as you can. Allowing is the key here. Allow the place in you that naturally wants to follow the light, to do so, while recognizing that even when you have complete faith, you will face challenges and, occasionally, suffering. Your steady faith and love will guide you on your journey of returning to the light.

Full Moon (Completion) – Every 29.5 days Grandmother Moon shines bright and full in the sky, illuminating the landscape with her muted brilliance, casting a delicate canopy over the sky and the physical features of Earth. Having gradually etched her way over the last two weeks to fullness, she now stands like a guiding beacon in the night. She has completed this round of her perpetual and periodic monthly journey, and will now start her slow but steady retreat into shadow. In this card, we see the grandeur of the moon at its peak, blazing brightly and creating a silhouette of a tree. This beautiful orb reminds us that all cycles have their time of completion and fulfillment, one that will inevitably be followed by a decrease until yet another cycle is initiated. You can now take pleasure in knowing that whatever you have been working toward has now reached its culmination. It may have been a relatively brief cycle or a much more extensive one, yet regardless of the length of time you have arrived at the stage of completion. Let yourself feel the contentment and satisfaction of this accomplishment. It is like when you take a deep breath and reach the point where your lungs are pleasantly full and your body is ready to release that breath. It is important not only to enjoy this completion but also to let go and allow yourself to relax afterwards, just like exhaling slowly and consciously. People are much too eager to rush to the next item on the agenda without giving proper time and space to appreciating and honouring the natural cycle of release that follows a point of resolution. Give yourself the time to relax and rest before tackling spirits next assignment.

Milky Way (Perspective) – The Milky Way is said to be one of billions of galaxies in the observable universe. It contains between 200 to 400 billion stars, the one most familiar to us being the sun. The oldest star in our galaxy is 13.2 billion years old – said to be nearly as old as the universe itself – and the Earth is about 4.5 billion years old. Distances are measured in light years, and the Milky Way galaxy is believed to be 100,000 light years in diameter. The enormity and vastness stagger the mind and challenge the imagination, yet it also gives us some notion of where we fit in all this. Considered from this perspective, our usual frame of reference is put to the task. We’re faced with a choice of abandoning our myopic vision in favour for seeing and accepting the bigger picture, or we can just allow ourselves to be overwhelmed by a sense of smallness and helplessness. Yet know that we are composed of material from those very stars that inhabit the Milky Way. Thus, we’re connected to Earth and the entire universe at all times, in life and death. You have lost your perspective, so it is time to step back, breathe, and allow yourself to detach in order to gather information from your senses and regain your perspective about this situation. Detachment does not mean you no longer care – it simply indicates that you are looking at things from a different point of view. It is an outlook that is not clouded by emotions, judgement, or attachment to outcome, but instead maintains a non-reactive awareness of these things. The Witness, that internal aspect of yourself that simply observes everything in your life, offers his or her eyes here. Through these lenses of pure awareness, you can examine all aspects of your experiences – physical, emotional, and mental – without denying anything. By doing so, you will come to understand a greater perspective than is typically justified by the ego, which allows you to see what is before you with clear vision and an open mind.
